Our flagship
The Flat Creek is our most complete Yellowstone II package, pairing the 9'0" 5WT rod with the Yellowstone Flow 5/6WT reel. Designed for balance, versatility, and smooth performance, it handles dries, nymphs, and light streamers across a wide range of freshwater conditions.
Built from high-performance IM8 graphite, the 9'0" 5WT Yellowstone II features a fast-action taper for tight loops and precise presentations. Titanium guides reduce friction, while Portuguese cork and a burled maple reel seat deliver comfort, control, and classic styling.
CNC-machined from aluminum, the Yellowstone Flow 5/6WT reel offers lightweight strength and a refined large-arbor design for faster retrieval. Its sealed drag system provides smooth, consistent pressure and dependable control in changing water conditions.
The Flat Creek Combo arrives pre-spooled with Silvertip 5WT Weight Forward Floating Line, Dacron backing, leader, and tippet. Includes essential tools and a stocked JHFLYCO fly box—creating a complete, ready-to-fish system built for confidence from the first cast.
Backed by the Jackson Hole Fly Company Lifetime Warranty, the Yellowstone II rod is built for long-term durability and dependable performance season after season.

Newbie to trout fly fishing and got this 5 wt rod and reel combo for big horn river trip. They both performed exceeded well and allowed me to catch way more fish than my skill level is at with ease of casting and senaitivity for hook sets. For us beginners adding small white dots on rod sections to allow for 100% accurate alignment set up of eyes is only suggestion I have
