Artist Statement:

My goal is to make the viewer smile and evoke nostalgia. I tap into my passion for landscapes and animals to capture the memory of ephemeral moments in nature, like the moment a trout breaches water to attack a bug. My painting style reflects my eagerness for a more vibrant and positive world. I enhance rich, naturally occurring colors to make my subjects look real, yet otherworldly.  Take the blue behind a rainbow trout’s eye, but electrify it. I hope my artwork sparks youthful wonder and imagination!
