Fly of the Month: The Yuk Bug
The Yuk Bug fly pattern can be used year-round to fish for everything from trout to smallmouth bass and steelhead. This big buggy-looking nymph has rubber legs that create a lot of action and imitates a lot of different fish foods including stonefly nymphs. They can be very productive patterns when hatches of big stoneflies are happening.
