The Standard by Which Bushcraft Tarps Are Judged

Cut and sewn in-house from heavy-duty 8 oz oilcloth, this is Coalcracker's core tarp — water-repellent, wind-blocking, and built to run as a ground mat, wind wall, lean-to, or full A-frame depending on what the trip needs.

Reinforced cloth tie-out loops run the perimeter and center seams — no grommets to fail. Sizes run from 7x7 (5.5 lbs) through 8x8 (6 lbs), 9x9 (7.5 lbs), 10x10 (9.5 lbs), up to 12x12 (12 lbs, best for larger group shelters and adverse weather). The 12x12 has a 1-week lead time due to demand.
