The San Juan Wire Worm – Chartreuse is a durable, ultra-visible worm imitation built to excel in fast water, deep seams, and stained river conditions. Unlike traditional chenille-based San Juan Worms, this variation uses colored wire to create a slim, segmented body that holds its shape and sinks faster, making it ideal for euro nymphing or indicator rigs in high-pressure or high-flow scenarios.

The chartreuse color acts as a bold attractor, standing out in turbid water and triggering reaction strikes from trout, especially during runoff or post-rain periods when aquatic worms are washed into the current. The wire body adds weight and sheen while maintaining a natural worm-like movement as it bounces along the bottom.
