The Silvertip Predator Fly Reel is built for anglers who fish hard in demanding environments — saltwater flats, heavy current, and extended battles with powerful, fast-running fish. Precision CNC-machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, it's engineered to take the abuse that serious saltwater and anadromous fishing demands.
Available in 9/10WT, the Predator's large arbor platform delivers rapid line pickup, reduced memory, and consistent drag performance under load. At its core is a carbon and stainless steel multi-disc drag system — smooth when it needs to be, powerful when a fish surges, and reliable through every stage of the fight.
A deep-channeled spool increases backing capacity for extended runs, while the corrosion-resistant anodized finish holds up in marine conditions season after season. The ergonomic drag knob allows fast, precise adjustment without breaking focus mid-fight.
Each reel includes a fitted neoprene case and arrives pre-spooled at no charge when purchased with fly line and backing — ready for the water, right out of the box.
