Made from tough stretch polyurethane with a UV-resistant additive, this strap holds constant tension around whatever you cinch it to — rod tubes, oars, waders, or loose gear in the truck — so nothing works its way loose on rough roads.
The aluminum buckle seats into punched holes that run nearly the full length of the strap, creating a positive mechanical hold rather than a friction grip. It won't slip or creep under load, there's nothing for sand and grit to foul, and unlike a plastic buckle it stays fully functional in freezing temperatures. Adjustment holes along the entire strap let you cinch down tight on small loads or run it out to full length, and two straps can be linked together when you need more reach.
