Berger's Badger Gnat is a high-floating midge imitation that excels during low-light hatches and on technical water where trout are sipping small insects with caution. Designed to replicate tiny midges and gnats, this dry fly features a subtle body and badger hackle that offers both realism and visibility. It's a go-to pattern for spring creeks, stillwater, and slow-moving streams—especially when trout are feeding near the surface on calm days.

The badger hackle provides lift and creates a realistic footprint on the water, while the slim body profile mimics natural adult midges. Its light color offers excellent contrast against dark or rippling surfaces, making it easier for anglers to track even in complex light conditions.
