The Chubby Chernobyl – Gold, known affectionately as the Chubby Peanut, is a high-floating, attention-grabbing foam dry fly ideal for imitating large terrestrials and stoneflies. This gold-bodied variation is particularly deadly in late summer and early fall, when fish key in on grasshoppers, beetles, and other big bugs that find their way onto the water’s surface.

Built with a double-layered foam body, lifelike rubber legs, and a highly visible synthetic wing post, the Chubby Peanut delivers unmatched buoyancy and visibility in rough water and fast currents.
