The Bird's Stone Trout Fly is Cal Bird's mid-century adult stonefly, sized for trout: a golden-orange body under palmered furnace hackle with split tails. Slimmer and more realistic than bushier stonefly dries, it shines when fish have seen too many Stimulators.

The trim profile matches the natural adult at rest—the look fish get when stoneflies cling to the film rather than flutter—making it the change-up for pressured golden stone and salmonfly water.
