The Salcha Pink is an Alaska small-dry named for the Salcha River: a compact pink body under a white wing tuft. Up north it covers the pink-tinged midges and small attractor duty for grayling and rainbows; down south it doubles as a high-visibility midge for tired eyes.
Grayling water rewards small, bright, and simple—three things this fly is in equal measure.
Best for:
- Grayling and northern rainbows
- Small-fly attractor duty
- High-vis midge fishing
📌 Pro Tip: Grayling rise in rhythm like trout but forgive more drag—fish this small pink dot with confidence even when the drift isn't perfect.
