The Rock Worm is a slim, deep-red larva imitation built for the bottom of fast water: a segmented body on a curved hook matching the blood-red rock worms—free-living caddis larvae—that trout root from between the stones of freestone rivers.

Red rock worms are a high-protein staple wherever caddis thrive, and their color intensifies when dislodged and drifting. This pattern rides low and slim, dead-drifted through riffles and pocket water where the naturals tumble.
