The Red Doc Spratley is a classic wet fly with a red body, black hackle, and a grizzly-tip wing under a peacock head. Born in British Columbia, it imitates dragonfly nymphs, leeches, and emerging insects—a stillwater and steelhead producer fished wet.

The red body adds an attractor cue to the time-tested Doc Spratley silhouette, drawing strikes on the swing and the slow retrieve.
