The Black Doc Spratley is the dark version of the BC wet-fly classic: a black body, black hackle, grizzly-tip wing, and peacock head. The strongest-silhouette Doc Spratley, imitating leeches and dragonfly nymphs in low light and stained water.

Black is the all-conditions Doc Spratley, the dark swimming nymph that stillwater and steelhead anglers reach for first.
