The Damsel Nymph imitates the slim, wiggling olive damselfly nymph that stillwater trout chase relentlessly through summer. A tapered olive body, marabou tail that pulses, and subtle eyes capture the swimming larva migrating toward shore to hatch.

Damsel nymphs swim with a distinctive side-to-side wiggle, and trout key on that motion—a slow retrieve brings this fly to life the way a dead drift can't.
